A scrap shear is used for efficient scrap cutting:

Function:
Scrap is fed into the intake area using an excavator. Due to the horizontal loading area and the self-weight of the scrap, the material falls into the loading chamber and the cutting area. The scrap is compressed against the front wall and is cut by the horizontally moving tool carriage, pressing the material over the blades mounted on the front wall. While the tool carriage moves horizontally, the processed material is pushed out through the blades at the front end of the chamber. When returning to the rear position, the loaded scrap moves by gravity into the shear.
The scrap shears are available in various configurations according to customer requirements, and the output size can be customized (with new orders).
Inspection and test operation are possible.
