ZERMA single shaft shredders of the ZPS series have universal application possibilities.
They are suitable for shredding heavy and massive parts that cannot be directly shredded on a granulator.
The large and heavy rotor of the shredder series ZPS , the low rotor speed as well as the high torque ensure low current peaks and thus avoid high energy costs.

Single-shaft shredders from the ZPS series are designed for a wide range of applications.
Depending on the task, the shredded material can be used directly in the manufacturing process, or it can be subsequently ground in a granulator.
The shredders from the ZPS series are equipped with a 2-step hydraulic system that prevents the rotor from blocking. Knives and knife holders are completely screwed into the rotor.
Generously dimensioned, externally located rotor bearings and a hydraulically swivelling screen basket are part of the standard equipment of every shredder.
The machines can be extended or upgraded with numerous options, such as rotor cooling or Hardox wear armouring.
Compared to the ZSS shredders, the machines of the ZPS series have a higher contact pressure device, which optimises the acceptance behaviour between the pusher and the rotor, especially with large-volume parts or pipes.
