Washing system
The core of the PT series: inside the machine, two S-shaped wash arms operate. Thanks to optimized flow and special nozzle geometry, they ensure full-area water distribution and, therefore, excellent washing results – with a rinse water volume starting from just 2.2 liters per cycle. Particular attention was paid to detail: sturdy stainless steel shafts ensure optimal rotation and contribute to the high reliability of the PT-XL.

Variable wash pressure adjustment
Every Winterhalter PT-XL comes as standard with variable water pressure regulation: VarioPower precisely adjusts the washing pressure to the items and level of soiling. Fine glassware and delicate bowls are washed at lower pressure, while robust dishes are washed at higher pressure. This reliably removes heavy soil and treats fragile items gently while maintaining their position.

Wastewater heat recovery
A clear advantage of the PT series: EnergyLight wastewater heat recovery comes as standard. The heat exchanger utilizes the energy from the wastewater to preheat the incoming cold water. The benefits: faster heating between cycles, resource savings, and up to 10% savings on energy costs.

Exhaust air heat recovery
With the Winterhalter PT-XL Energy Plus, exhaust air heat recovery is included. In addition to the standard wastewater heat recovery, an exhaust air heat exchanger is also used. This utilizes the energy from the warm water vapor inside the machine to preheat the incoming cold water. As a result, minimal moist, hot steam escapes into the room when the machine is opened. Each cycle saves up to 15% on energy costs.
