The STANKO 3451B is a special-purpose relief-turning lathe designed for machining splined shafts and profiled cylindrical workpieces by relief turning. Manufactured in 1980, the machine is intended for precision machining operations in serial production and repair workshops, particularly in the manufacture of transmission and drive components.

The machine is capable of processing workpieces with a maximum length of up to 1,000 mm and a maximum diameter of 320 mm, with an allowable workpiece weight of up to 80 kg. It supports machining of shafts with 3 to 48 splines, making it suitable for a wide range of spline profiles and configurations.

The worktable provides a longitudinal travel (X-axis) of 1,120 mm and operates with a continuously adjustable feed speed from 1 to 15 m/min, allowing precise control of the relief-turning process. The vertical travel (Z-axis) is 190 mm, enabling accurate positioning of the cutting tool relative to the workpiece. The machine layout ensures sufficient clearance between the table and the spindle center for stable machining of splined shafts.

The main spindle operates with stepped rotational speeds of 2880 / 4550 / 6300 / 7400 rpm, selected by change pulleys. The drive system is powered by a 4 kW electric motor, providing reliable performance for continuous industrial operation. The machine operates on three-phase power, 3 × 400 V, 50 Hz.

With an overall weight of approximately 4,900 kg, the STANKO 3451B features a rigid cast-iron construction that provides excellent vibration damping and machining stability. The machine is supplied with original factory documentation and passport, ensuring proper operation and maintenance.
