The powerful STAHLWERK CUT 160 Pilot IGBT plasma cutter with 2T/4T mode and high-performance water cooling delivers a powerful 160 amps and features a precise high-frequency (HF) pilot arc for first-class arc starting. The cutting performance is up to 52 mm, depending on the material (structural steel P235 up to 52 mm, V2A or V4A up to 48 mm, aluminum up to 42 mm). In addition to common conductive metals, the plasma cutter is also suitable for coated sheets and surface rust. The cutting current can be adjusted steplessly from 20 to 160 amps. The compact unit features smart cooling and overheating protection and is easy to transport at only 38.3 kg.
• Plasma / CUT - A plasma arc is generated by means of current, which melts the material, which is then removed with compressed air. This allows all conductive metals, such as standard steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, titanium, etc., to be cut precisely with ease.
• Cutting thickness - Cutting up to 52 mm is possible, depending on the material. Structural steel P235 up to 52 mm, V2A or V4A up to 48 mm, aluminum up to 42 mm.
• Pilot arc - High-frequency (HF) pilot arc for first-class arc starting. No contact with the workpiece is necessary! The pilot flame establishes the arc. This torch can be operated with a spacer, which is included.
• Cutting current - Stepless adjustment from 20 to 160 A.
• Airflow - After the cutting process is completed, air flows to cool the torch and reduce wear on the nozzle and electrode.
• 2T/4T - determines the control of the operating mode and offers extended control over the current profile. In 2T mode, the high-frequency ignition (HF) remains active until the trigger on the torch is released. In 4T mode, the arc is ignited after the trigger is pressed and released once. After another press and release, the ignition is stopped.
• Lightweight & compact design - With a weight of only 38.3 kg and dimensions of 630 x 320 x 600 mm, the unit is ideal for cutting work in any location. Innovative IGBT transistors save space and weight compared to the old MOSFET technology. No more heavy lifting, thanks to the transport rollers under the unit!
• Highest efficiency & performance - Three-phase alternating current (400 V) powers the unit and allows an output power of a true 160 amps.
• Smart cooling & overheating protection - State-of-the-art technology, an integrated overheating protection and a high-performance cooling system enable the maximum performance to be achieved.
• Water cooling - The high-performance water cooling guarantees optimal cooling of the entire hose pack at all times. The water cooler is already included in the scope of delivery!
