DOS P piston metering system
for a wide range of requirements
Scheugenpflug piston dispensing systems work according to the principle of volumetric dispensing, i.e. the amount of material dispensed is determined mechanically by the geometry and stroke of the associated cylinder. The cylinder is filled with the potting material by feeding it from the corresponding material conveyor system. If a two-component medium is used, the ratio of the resin and hardener components to each other is determined by the volume of the two cylinders. The dosing pistons press the two components simultaneously in separate channels towards the outlet valve, where they first mix in the static mixing tube to form a homogeneous reactive medium.
The Dos P016 / 050 / 100 / 300 / TCA piston dispensing systems are high-precision volumetric dispensing systems designed for processing 1K and 2K materials and cover a wide range of requirements. Precisely dimensioned dosing cylinders enable reproducible material volumes to be dispensed.
With 2-component materials, the parallel emptying of both cylinders into the common mixing tube ensures a constant mixing ratio at all times and therefore maximum process reliability. At the same time, potting media that are sensitive to pressure, moisture or shear can be conveyed gently without having to worry about changes to the material. Users also benefit from quick and easy maintenance, a long service life and considerably reduced maintenance costs. With optional features such as valve monitoring, mixing tube heating or dispensing head heating, these systems can be flexibly adapted to the respective task.
