The boiler has an air volume of 15.1 m³, a wall thickness of 6 mm, and the usable volume of the sludge chamber is reduced to approximately 12.8 m³ by the displacement piston. The full-size top cover can be hydraulically opened upwards. The cover locking mechanism features a galvanized, hydraulically operated latch.
