The impeller creates a negative pressure in the centre of the suction pipe, as the medium is pressed to the edge of the casing by centrifugal force. Here, the liquid rises due to the higher pressure and leaves the casing via the pressure flange. Used centrifugal pumps from various manufacturers, with different key figures and equipment. Both mobile and stationary centrifugal pumps are available.
