Model No. WNC 80 KLINGELNBERG “CNC” spiral bevel gear grinding machine suitable for the hard finishing of spiral bevel and hypoid bevel gears and pinions which are pre-machined with cutter heads in either face-milling or face-hobbing processes up to 31.49” (800mm) pitch diameter, DP 25 TO 1.4 (module 1 to 18) and 5.12” (130mm) maximum face-width, utilizing non-dressable plated CBN wheels, or dressable wheels such as conventional aluminum oxide, SG, and/or vitrified type, employing the on-board dressing device with diamond dressing roll

The machine corresponds to the attached copy of factory literature, featuring the following:
FEATURES / EQUIPMENT:
• Machine with double-spindle wheelhead design allowing the convex and concave tooth flank to be
ground and finished in one single operation
• Double-spindle wheelhead also provides possibility of rough and finish grinding separartely, with two
grinding spindles equipped with one roughing and one finishing wheel.
• Stationary dressing unit at the back of the machine base, with dressing spindle which can be swiveled
via hydraulic cylinder into the work range of the machine for dressing of the grinding wheels
• Swivellable stock dividing device for centering dressed grinding wheels
• Full machine enclosure, with sliding door and safety-glass window, and integrated electrostatic
oil-mist suction device
• IBH “CNC” control with color CRT and spiral bevel gear grinding software with user-friendly conversational dialogue programming, with data interface directly from a central computer.
o DNC- Software as basic program for the different Software options
o Grinding of spiral bevel gears according the Wiener " 2 Spur process ".
o Grinding of the concave and convex flank with two different wheels and with different machine
set-up parameters.
