The dryer is primarily used for drying sewage sludge or substrate from biogas plants. The material fed into the dryer is swirled in the drying chamber by throw shafts. Exhaust gases from a combustion engine flow around the material, causing the water to evaporate. Daily throughput is approx. 10 t.
