This edge feeding joining apparatus is the most economical alternative to longitudinal joining apparatuses for cross-grain applications.

Cross cutter
For cutting to a pre-set format width (across the grain) directly after splicing. Short widths can be pre-set and measured with the integrated encoder. Larger widths are determined by two photoelectric sensors that are mounted at the required distance from the clipper on the direct stacking device.
Direct stacking device DA-12R, belt system
For unloading and stacking the veneer surface directly after joining. The joined surfaces are gently unloaded and stacked on this compact direct stacking device without any mechanical impact.

Veneer sheet widths (across the grain): 250 - 1200 mm
Max. stack height: 500 mm
Max. stack width (across the grain) for unloading to the rear end: 1200 mm
