描述
Complete equipment for orbital welding and bevelling of pipes in all kinds of materials and all kinds of thicknesses in diameter from 20 to 170mm for sale. Manuals and part lists are included.
In addition to welding equipment, a TRI-Tool 206B and a Wachs SDB 103/3 bevelling machine are included. They will efficiently make all kinds of joints like V, J or U bevels.
The equipment can be delivered free of charge "to the door" anywhere in Europa and up to 1 week of training is included.
All three included welding heads are of the same type (original Dimetrics FFIP heads- Full Function In Place) with both oscillation and AVC. (Automatic arc length)
All three welding heads each have their own feeder for 100mm wire spools.
The equipment consists of the following:
*1 pc Dimetric Gold Track 3 (hour meter shows 72.6 hours "weld time" and 1088 hours "stand by"
*1 pc welding head FFIP Small for Ø20- Ø 50mm
*1 pc ditto but Medium, for Ø 48 – 90mm
*1 pc ditto but Large, for 100-170 mm
Completely ready to weld with all cables and remote control
The welding heads are in solid transport boxes.
Furthermore;
*1 case with Tri-Tool 206 B bevelling machine pneumatic drive, 2"-6"
•very little used
• Bevel pipes from 2" to 6" (60.3 to 168.28mm)
• Wall thickness up to 22.23mm)
*1 case with Wachs SDB 103/3 pneumatic drive
Capacity from 1" to 3'" well used but in good working condition.
Dimetric's equipment has welded approximately 70% of the world's nuclear power plants, - both due to precision,
operational reliability and robustness.
Dimetrics was also the first to be certified to weld hydraulic systems on aircraft.
Dimetrics (now together with Canadian Liburdi) is still a leader in welding nuclear power plants.
For example, "Framatome" is responsible for the construction of 13 new nuclear power plants in France - and they only use welding equipment from Liburdi - Dimetrics, now Gold Track 7.
All welding heads can still run on the latest Dimetrics welding machines.
My equipment is from the 90s, and I got it from a shipyard that had produced nuclear-powered submarines where this particular equipment was on standby, but was never used for anything other than testing and training.
A new piece of equipment with only one welding head and the same functions (AVC and oscillation) quickly costs from the very cheapest some €75.000 and up- of course without bevelling machines.

I bought the equipment for use on a job that never materialised (!), and because I had 4 other orbital machines from before, this was rarely used.
Now I am stopping working with orbital welding after 50 years in the industry, and continue as a consultant and supplier. This gives me time to load the equipment into a cabinet trailer, connect it to my camper and deliver it anywhere.
Price complete delivered anywhere in Europe, including up to 1 week of training, €20000 excl. VAT.
