Suitable for EN 12469:2000 (EU) and NSF/ANSI 49 (US) standard compliance, the SafeFAST Classic 209 D provides triple protection (user, product, environment) via Class II vertical laminar airflow containment 

Airflow: ~70% is recirculated through an H14 HEPA/ULPA filter, ~30% is exhausted via a second H14 HEPA filter

Construction: Exterior in epoxy‑powder‑coated steel; rear wall meets EN12469 cleanability criteria; segmented work tray of AISI 304L stainless steel, removable for cleaning/autoclaving 

Electrical safety sash: Motorised vertical sliding front sash, with standard working aperture of 200 mm (max 490 mm), also hinged for deep cleaning 

Airflow & Filtration System: Single or dual centrifugal fans; static negative pressure design ensures all contaminated air is drawn into HEPA filters; avoids positive pressure in any chamber

Control & Safety Systems

Microprocessor-based control (ECS™ or similar): Real-time monitoring via rear-lit LCD and touch keyboard, displaying airflow status, filter condition, fan status, and sash position; allows safe operation and data logging 

Audio‑visual alarms: Alert the user in case of deviations in airflow velocity, sash mis-position, clogged filter, fan issues, or power loss
