CORMAK JDSA

CORMAK JDSA Cordless Strapping Tool
The CORMAK JDSA is a portable electric strapping tool designed for securing parcels, cardboard boxes, bulk packaging, and palletized loads. The device is compatible with polyester PET straps with widths ranging from 13 to 16 mm and thicknesses from 0.7 to 1.2 mm.
The JDSA model is a handheld, battery-powered strapping tool that the operator positions directly on the strap. The device tensions the strap, joins its ends using friction welding, and then cuts off the excess material. The strapping process does not require any additional metal or plastic seals.
Battery operation allows cordless use and unrestricted movement between products being packaged. The ergonomically designed handle provides a secure grip and makes it easier to control the device during successive strapping cycles.
The PET strapping tool is suitable for securing individual shipments as well as for the continuous preparation of goods for storage and transportation.
Benefits of Purchasing the JDSA Strapping Tool
- Faster preparation of larger quantities of parcels, cardboard boxes, and loads thanks to efficient tensioning and short welding times.
- Reduced manual effort – the device tensions, welds, and cuts the strap.
- Strap joining without the need for metal or plastic seals.
- Adjustable tensioning force to suit the type of packaging and load being secured.
- Versatile applications thanks to compatibility with PET straps of different widths and thicknesses.
- Freedom of movement around the load thanks to battery-powered operation.
- Approximately 250–350 strapping cycles per battery charge.
- Reduced strain on hands and arms and more comfortable operation thanks to the ergonomic handle.
- Neat and consistent securing of parcels, cardboard boxes, and palletized loads.
Adjustable Tensioning Force for Different Types of Loads
The adjustable tensioning force, ranging from 900 to 3200 N, allows the strap tension to be adapted to the type of product being secured. The device combines the functions of a strap tensioner, a friction welding unit, and a cutting mechanism.
Lower tension settings can be used for cardboard boxes and packaging that are susceptible to deformation. Higher settings provide greater tensioning force when securing heavier and more durable loads.
Properly adjusted tensioning force helps stabilize goods and minimize their movement during handling, storage, and transportation.
PET Strap Compatibility
