The Carel HeaterSteam UR020HL10S is an isothermal steam humidifier.
It produces steam by heating heating elements immersed in a steam cylinder filled with water.
This can be regular tap water or fully demineralized water.
The heat generated by the heating elements heats the water to a temperature of 100°C.

Steam distribution

For optimal humidifier performance, the produced steam must be distributed evenly throughout the room to avoid droplet formation and condensate accumulation. This can be achieved either with vented steam distributors or steam lances. The choice of steam distributor depends on the room into which the steam is to be introduced. For direct room humidification (in rooms, factory halls, etc.), vented steam distributors (optional) with a motorized fan should be used.
However, if steam is to be distributed via ducts or air handling units, Steam lances are used, which utilize the speed of the air flowing through them for humidification.
