Areva Teleperm XS Control Cabinet

Standard Construction
For the construction of Teleperm XS systems,
SC 9422 control cabinets (2200 x 900 x 400 mm deep), IP30 protection class, are typically used.
The cabinet is equipped with cable clamps with shielding bars.
The cabinet is designed for seismic loads.
Cable entry and power supply are generally from below.
In the standard cabinet, the subracks are mounted in the middle section.
To the left and right of these are areas for mounting cabinet connection elements and transceivers.
Terminal blocks are used to connect peripheral cables.

Other connection technologies, such as Maxi-Termi-Point, are also possible.
Field cables must be shielded with twisted pairs.
Buses are implemented using conventional cables within a cabinet and fiber optic cables outside the cabinet.
Teleperm XS is suitable for systems with both surface grounding and central grounding (CEP).

Subracks
Various subrack configurations are used depending on the application.

The basic version of the subrack has a continuous backplane bus and offers 21 slots.
If large signal volumes need to be recorded, expansion subracks can be connected.

Variants are also supported:
- Split racks with two smaller, independent computers
(10 slots each, each with its own fans and power supply)
- Mixed configurations such as the compact combination of a computer with the associated signal conditioning modules
