ABB 2-Station Robotic Welding Cell


You are bidding on a professional, fully functional 2-station robotic welding cell designed for continuous industrial use.
The system is ideal for automated, highly efficient MIG/MAG welding across production runs ranging from small batches to large-scale series (e.g., in automotive or mechanical engineering).

Thanks to the clever two-station design (shuttle table/parallel stations), the operator can safely load new components or unload finished workpieces on one side while the robot is actively welding on the other.

System Components
1. Industrial Robot & Controller (ABB):
- Robot Controller: Reliable and robust ABB S4 / S4C generation.
- Programming Unit: Original ABB Teach Pendant with joystick for precise programming (teaching) of welding paths.
- Auxiliary Axes: Both stations feature synchronized, motorized rotary axes (Nameplate: ABB / ELMO, Type: PS 60/4-50-P-LSS-3985) for optimal workpiece positioning (e.g., for "bathtub" or gravity-assisted welding positions).

2. Welding Technology (Carl Cloos Schweißtechnik GmbH):
- Welding Power Source: Cloos GLC 503 QUINTO (High-performance 500A MIG/MAG system).
- Cooling: Integrated liquid cooling (water cooling) to maximize the torch head's duty cycle.
- Accessories: 2x professional WDI ECORACK bulk wire drums on wheeled trolleys, including robust wire feed conduits leading to the robot.

3. System Control & Safety:
- Operator Interface (HMI): Modernized Siemens SIMATIC HMI touch panel for easy control of the entire system, part counting, and error diagnostics. - Safety: Fully enclosed safety enclosure (protective screens against UV radiation and welding spatter) including an integrated extraction system (hose assembly on the robot arm).
- Inspection: The system was in industrial use until recently (certified for, among others, renowned automotive suppliers) and bears a valid DGUV Regulation 3 inspection sticker.
