Biogas Bree

Biogas Bree is a biogas plant in Bree that digests organic material into biogas, green electricity, heat, and digestate. The company was founded in 2011 and processes, among other things, energy crops, plant-based by-products from the food industry, pig manure, and a limited number of category 3 products. The site also produces digestate and organic soil improver, including in dried form and in big bags. Biogas Bree has combined heat and power (CHP) installations and dries digestate using its own heat. The company is active in biomass processing and the production of renewable energy and organic fertilizers.
